very, very helpful

My ER experience has been pretty spotty, and ortho is one of my weakest areas. This book takes you through the very basics ("how to apply a splint") and covers common problems. It makes it clear in every situation what pitfalls lurk and how to avoid them, when to worry or page ortho stat, how soon to follow up and which to admit. I got it in Kindle form and keep It handy in my small ER, both as a reference and as a great way to review the important stuff.
