Pastor Robert Jeffress's book is aimed at the doubting Christian. Structuring his text around seven fundamental questions, the pastor considers how one can know God exists, how one can know the Bible is true, and how one can know that Christianity is the right religion. Jeffress's narration is crisp and clear. There's a jauntiness to his tone, which dissipates slightly when he begins talking about atheists. Proof of God's existence is clearly a personal and important topic to him—and this comes across in his reading. His narration is very precise, perhaps because Jeffress wants to ensure every point is properly communicated. The downside to this approach, however, is that Jeffress often sounds as if he's reading lecture notes, and this ultimately makes his narration stiff and unpersuasive. A Worthy Book paperback. (May)

Robert Jeffress has done it again!

As a follow up to the last page-turner of his that I read, Twilight's Last Gleaming, Dr. Robert Jeffress has done it again. How Can I Know? is compelling, persuasive and insightful. The seven questions that this book answers are relevant for any Christian or anyone wanting to know more about what Christians believe. Even critics and skeptics will be surprised at the depth of insight and the breadth of research that has gone into the writing of this book. If you want to be challenged to deepen your faith, or if your faith is being challenged by others, this book will give you the answers you are looking for. Highly recommended.

Answers to Life's Most Important Questions

This book has all the answers that we as Christians get asked and should know. What an awesome gift to give to your family and friends for Christmas. Many of these questions never get asked because people are too embarrassed that they don't know the answer. I'm putting one on my coffee table, in the magazine rack and in my purse just in case. Thank you Dr. Jeffress for this book!

Great resource for sharing and defending your faith!

I listened to Dr. Jeffress preach the "How Can I Know?" series at First Baptist Dallas and am so excited to have the book to elaborate on those sermons and as a reference to use in defending my faith. Having faith is something that I haven't struggled with, but defending it and sharing it hasn't come as easily. I love this book because it is based on Biblical truths and points me to the scriptures needed to back up what I believe and answer the most frequently asked questions about my faith. My favorite question that is answered is "How Can I Know God is Good with All The Suffering in the World?" This is a question I have encountered over and over and have struggled to answer well. Now I feel armed with the answer and have plans to share this with a family member that God has laid on my heart. This is a great book for all Christians to read as well as unbelievers seeking answers.
